Our Impact

The Larmer Tree Project empowers children to engage with the creative arts and the natural world, fostering resilience, self-expression, and emotional wellbeing. Through our arts education programme and outdoor workshops, children are encouraged to find their voice, connect with nature and have the freedom to explore their own creativity.

Find Their Voice

Poetry performances encourage collaboration and mutual respect, as children learn to listen, support, and celebrate one another’s voices. Together, they create something bigger than themselves—strengthening both their self-belief, self-confidence and connection to the wider community developing a deeper sense of belonging.

Connect With Nature

Exploring how poetry, music, art and nature connect—listening to the sounds, rhythms, and stories of the natural world that inspire their own creativity.

The setting of nature's classroom enables the children to experience nature while they explore the arts.

Discover the arts

Working in a safe, natural space outside the classroom gives children the freedom to be themselves. This open space allows creativity to flow, free from the usual rules, allowing imagination and self-expression to flourish.

The positive impact of the arts and nature on mental wellbeing is evidence-based, measurable, and lasting.
In nurturing the whole child, we plant the seeds for stronger, healthier, more resilient futures.
